Hi, welcome to 1515!
We’re Ally and Katie Dorsey, sisters from Wilmington, Delaware.
1515 might just sound like a number to most people, but to us, 1515 is home. 1515 is inspired by our childhood home address. When Katie moved away to college, Ally gave her a ring with "1515" engraved on it, as a symbol that she would always carry a piece of home with her.
Ironically, the ring gained more significance a few months later when we found out we would be moving out of the place we'd grown to love over the past twenty years. We know that no matter how far we move from our physical home, we will always carry a piece of it with us, through the memories we made there with the people that matter most.
Hence 1515 was born. Our "This Must Be The Place" design represents one's home away from home. It's not just the place, it's the people. The memories. That feeling of belonging.
“This must be the place” sweatshirts are meant to remind people of their second homes within college towns, beach towns, vacation spots, or simply places that feel like home.
As we began working on 1515, a friend of ours shared the importance of the angel number 1515: a message that symbolizes new beginnings, opportunities, blessings, and gratitude. A perfect reminder of our places, always bringing us back home.
